ABOUT CLICK-ON KADUNA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DIGITAL NAIJA EVENT
Nigeria, the largest economy in Africa, still suffers from fluctuating economic growth, poverty and unemployment. This is specially pressing amongst Nigerian youth, who most of the times need to migrate or end up underemployed. ICT ubiquity in the last decade has given rise to a massive new market for digital goods and services, introducing a market that requires high to low skilled workers, and provides digital earning opportunities for workers with access to an internet connection, wireless or fixed, proprietary or public.
In order to leverage the opportunities offered by the Virtual Economy and tackle some of the problems faced by Nigeria, the Government of Kaduna State with the support of the World Bank and the Rockefeller Foundation are proud to announce Click-On Kaduna in partnership with Digital Naija. This event consists of a set of skill-specific workshops (i.e. Business Skills, IT Skills and Creative Industries) that will provide the foundations and tools needed for Nigerian youth to enter the Virtual Economy, start working online and receive a payment in exchange for the services offered.
If you are from Kaduna, Plateau or Kano, between 18-40 years old and interested in being part of this new paradigm and contribute to Nigerian Virtual Economy ecosystem, fill out and submit the questionnaire below, and we will contact you shortly with next steps and additional details.
